STORIES
Poetic choreographic work in which the bodies of people and trees share a story and in which the artist and her collaborators silently call for empathy towards the world that, after all, provides us with the basic conditions of life.
STORIES connects contemporary performance art with themes of sustainability, recycling, and environmental responsibility.
The project was created as an adaptation of the successful production WITNESS, which was, among others, presented at the Munich Dance Festival, OffEuropa Leipzig, and the Tel Aviv Dance Festival.

STORIES
Poetická choreografie, ve které lidská těla a stromy sdílí společný příběh. STORIES je tiché volání po empatii vůči světu, který nám poskytuje všechny základní potřeby k životu.
Inscenace propojuje současné performativní umění s tématy udržitelnosti, recyklace a environmentální odpovědnosti.
Projekt vznikl jako adaptace úspěšné inscenace WITNESS, která byla mj. uvedena na festivalech Munich Dance Festival, Off Europa Leipzig a Tel Aviv Dance Festival.
“Mnohým z nás se při pomyšlení na nejznámější, ikonické prostředí divadelního jeviště 20. století vybaví osamělý uschlý strom v Beckettově Čekání na Godota. Je svědkem doby a jejich osudových zvratů a porážek. Choreografka a tanečnice Věra Ondrašíková v inscenaci obsadila strom do řady tanečních rolí, ve kterých se mění nejen jeho funkce a významy, ale také jeho zázračné proměny v čase.”
